Connecting UK homes with MCS-certified solar installers.
We're a UK-based introducer service. We don't install panels ourselves — we match homeowners and businesses with vetted, MCS-certified installers across England and Wales.
What we do
Our 60-second quote tool gathers the basics about your home — property type, roof type, monthly bill and postcode — and matches you with one or more MCS-certified installers actively quoting in your area. You get free, no-obligation pricing without filling out half a dozen separate forms across half a dozen websites.
Who we work with
We only partner with installers who hold:
- MCS certification — the UK industry mark for renewable installers, required for SEG eligibility
- RECC membership — the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, providing consumer protection on quotes and contracts
- NICEIC approval — the electrical certification body confirming all wiring meets BS 7671
- Public liability insurance of at least £2 million per installer
- A minimum 10-year workmanship warranty on every install
If an installer's MCS certification lapses, or we receive substantiated complaints from customers, they're removed from our network.
What we don't do
We don't operate any "free solar," ECO4, or government-grant schemes. We connect you with installers who quote real prices for real installs, with the 0% VAT discount and Smart Export Guarantee earnings built in.
We don't sell your data to multiple installers without your consent. The details you submit go to a single MCS installer covering your postcode. If you've opted in to multi-quote comparison, you'll see that clearly before you submit.
We don't make cold sales calls. After your quote request, the installer contacts you by your preferred method — email, phone, or WhatsApp.
Why MCS, RECC and NICEIC matter
MCS
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme is the UK industry standard for solar PV. Without an MCS-certified install, you can't apply for the Smart Export Guarantee — meaning no export payments. We don't list non-MCS installers.
RECC
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code is a Trading Standards-approved code that gives you protection on quotes, deposits, contracts and aftercare. It's your safety net if anything goes wrong.
NICEIC
The UK electrical certification body. Every solar install involves new circuits, isolators and a connection to your consumer unit — NICEIC approval ensures the electrical work is signed off to BS 7671.
